Location ideas

For my location I want to do an outside shoot to develop my portfolio. My last project was done inside a studio which worked well for what I wanted but I do not think will create my Georgian look that I am particularly after. I want to find somewhere which is from the 18th Century that would be in-keeping with my Georgian setting and give me a lot of set to work with.
I've started by looking at Georgian buildings in the area.

The first place I have contacted is Avington Park, a Georgian mansion near Winchester. This was a great location and exactly what I was looking for. However, whilst a location may be what you want, you don't always get. I contacted Avington park via phone and email. The phone call did not go very well and the lady I spoke to was very rude.

To whom it may concern,

I am currently looking for a location for an 18th century style photo-shoot for my project.
I am a fashion student from The Arts University College of Bournemouth in my 2nd year. I have a keen interest in historical architecture and costume and have therefore used this to inspire my current project. My project is based on Georgian period clothing with a contemporary mix. I am looking to do a photo-shoot and a fashion film/commercial for The Girls project The Paper Eaters which is being held in Selfridges (London) during April.
I am therefore on the search for a beautiful building with the right historical significance to fit with my project. I think Avington Park has a beautiful setting to it and would be perfect for my project.
Is this something you can offer to me? I am looking to spend a day on set taking photographs and doing a sequence of small film shots with models involved.
I can also provide final copies of all photographs and a copy of the final film.
Please don't hesitate to contact me if you need further information about the project.
I look forward to hearing from you,
Victoria Smith

HI, thank you for your email, we are asked to be a venue for a student project about 3 times a week, and I am afraid that we cannot open up the house continuely for this. I am very sorry but we cannot help. With regards Sarah

I will therefore have to try another location.
