I think the recent video by Lady GaGa is a really good example of adding text into a video. I think the use of text and graphics is very similar to 80's comic books and video games. I think this may be an interesting way of perhaps introducing the 80's to a video without it being notably cheesy. It also has a fun tongue in cheek quality about it which I want to really develop on.
