Marc Jacobs

I think the colours in the Marc for Marc Jacobs S/S 10 ad's give a great contemporary 80's look. I really like the bright, bold colours in the use of accessories and think this could really be an element to take forward in my styling. I think the best way for me to mix the 80's and the 18th century is to go with one look and bring the other look into it subtly. I think with the bright colours of the 80's I could really bring this out through the accessories and show that less is more. I think with the pale pastel colours of the 18th century the 80's accessories will really stand out to give the impression of something out of place. I want to create a very fun, tongue in cheek vibe and I think this is a good way to bring the theme together.
