Marie Antoinette

I think recently one of the most empowering film with 18th Century styling is Marie Antoinette. It is the true story about the last queen of France and her extravagant tastes and expenditure that lead to the French revolution.
This film beautifully mixes the period drama with 80's music which I think makes this film have a contemporary feel.
The styling is beautiful and defiantly embraces you into it despite not being true to its authentic costume (bright pink was not a colour to be had during this time).
I think this film has defiantly been one that has inspired me with the direction of my photo-shoot and film. I want to bring together the fun and extravagance that came with the 18th Century life. This film was visually beautiful and its something I hope to achieve when choosing the styling and setting.
