Kingston Lacy

I think Kingston Lacy may be the best location that I have looked at so far. Located in Wimborne Minister its very close to Bournemouth.
Having visited there and spoken to a few members of staff, it's a strong possibility that I will be able to use the grounds for my photo-shoot. Unfortunately I would not have access to the inside of the house, but the estates grounds are large and there would be a lot to use. I also like the fact that from all the way around the Estate you can usually see the house, which would give a great backdrop.
I thought this wall in the courtyard might create a nice backdrop as I like the use of the different textures.
Whilst the railings on the steps aren't notably Georgian the arch would create an interesting shape for the model to work within.
All around the estate are these white fences. I think this kissing gate may create a nice scene as the house is also in the background. Although that depends on whether the digger is still there.
I really liked this long straight walk down to the right side of the house. I think it would be a good place to interact with the camera maybe running up from the house.
I think the two seats here would be a perfect set for the models to drape themselves as the house is just shown behind.
I think the best thing for me to do next is to visit the house with my photographer and film guy to discuss locations.
However, before I can do anything I need to get confirmation from the Manager at Kingston Lacy. My email to him is shown below.

To Martin,

I have been forwarded your email by the staff at Kingston Lacy to discuss my project with you. I am a fashion student from The Art University College of Bournemouth in my 2nd year.

I am currently looking for a location for my photo-shoot which is Georgian inspired with a contemporary mix. I am therefore looking for somewhere that has reference to 18th century architecture to feature as a backdrop to my photographs and film.

Having spoken to someone over the phone at Kingston, she mentioned that the house would be off limits to photograph in but the grounds would be fine providing I contacted you to discuss it further.
Having visited Kingston a couple of times I am familiar with the grounds and think they would be perfect for what I want to create.
With the added bonus of spring blooming it will hopefully add to my photographs.

I am looking to do the photo-shoot after the Easter Holidays so the weeks the 12th or 19th of April and would probably only take one day.
I can also provide copies of all final photographs for your collection.

Look forward to hearing from you,
Victoria Smith
