As I have planned this film a lot more than the Entomology and Ornithology one that I did for my last project, I have been very concious about how it is being edited and what music is being used. Because I want the film to start of being in the house very conserved and then going outside and 'escaping' I want music that reflects this. I have therefore, started to look into music that starts off quiet and then picks up pace as the film does. Obviously the film will have to match this so I have suggested these ideas to Alex to see which he thinks will work the best with the footage.
Something we are very keen on doing is getting our work out in the public eye. He wants to submit the video to the French Fashion Film Festival but if we do go ahead with this we will need to contact Martin from Kingston Lacy to discuss the documents I signed stating that it would not be used for any commercial use, I would therefore have to check this. Music will also have to be considered as it has to be copyright free, however as we only have a few weeks of editing before hand-in I think it is important to finish editing the film and then make the changes if needs be for the festival requirements.
